Arabella's POV

Phoenix is still a bit weak and I don't know why. The King must have pumped us full of wolf's bane. I can feel the burning pain as it coursed through my body, but that's not what is bothering me.

What is really bothering me is the fact that Phoenix is howling sadly and I could feel her pain and sadness as she whimpers and whines in my head. I Am strapped to a weird chair and my wolf is so weak and unhappy.

After trying to get Phoenix to tell me what was going on, she finally spoke up, apologizing to me for not seeing the danger...
