Dr. Smith walked up to me with a smile on my face.

“So, how have you been Adrianna?” she asked.

“Fine,” I replied with sweaty palms.

“You seem scared, is everything alright?” She asked.

Damn yea, i’m scared.

I shook my head immediately. “Scared? Me? No! Never” i said, my eyes moving to the left and right, anywhere away from Dr. Smith’s eyes.

She let out a giggle, before she leaned closer to me. “Adrianna, you don’t have to pretend. It is normal for first time mothers to be scared” she said, reassuring me.
