“You’re always welcome” she added, as she stood up from her seat to give me a hug.
I leaned in, enveloped by the warmth. It really felt so good.
We chatted for a little while before I decided to go home. I bid her farewell and walked out of her office to the counter, where my purse and the papers were.
I picked them up, and told my coworkers goodbye, and walked out of the coffee shop. I quickly stopped a taxi and hopped in, giving the driver my address.
