TWO DAYS LATER

I stared out the window as I held my chest, trying to soothe the tensed up pain I felt.

This was really happening. It was the day of the divorce. I would finally be cutting ties with Raymond.

I had really anticipated this day and I was definitely excited when the days were coming close, but now that it was here, I was… I think scared.

I knew I wasn't supposed to be scared but for some reason, I was.
