Dr. Smith cleaned up the ultrasound gel that remained on my body, wiping it off with wipes. I sat up and stepped down from the bed.

“Thank you doctor” I thanked her as I got closer to her.

She dropped what was in her hands and gave me a hug. “You’re welcome Adrianna, always”

“Just remember to come for your checkups okay?” She said releasing me from her grip, and I nodded.

I picked up my purse as Ethan stretched out his hand for me to hold. I took it, and followed behind him as he walked out of the doctor’s office.
