Adam heard a knock on the door. It was still early in the morning. He couldn’t sleep last night, so he came to his father’s room. He was sitting on a chair beside his father’s bed when he heard the knock.

“You can come in.”

“Is she okay?” Adam asked anxiously.

“Yes, Master. She’s fine and awake now but she still doesn’t have any energy to move.”
