IAN’s POV :
“All right, that’s it for today’s class,” I said right before the fourth period bell rang. The students started shuffling and gathering their things, eager to get to lunch. “Have a great day everyone,”
“Have a great day, Mr. Hayes,” said a few students as they walked out.
“Thanks, Mr. Hayes,” said another student.
Within minutes, the classroom was dead empty. I was in the middle of putting my papers into my briefcase when I heard a knock on the door.
