“Hey, baby,” I said as I rubbed my stomach gently. “Tomorrow’s the day. We’re finally gonna see you soon,”

“We can’t wait to meet you,” Ian rolled over from his side of the bed to give my stomach a little kiss. I felt a warm flutter in my stomach and I got giddy as his lips touched my skin. I always felt that way whenever he touched the baby. It was like the baby was saying hi back to her daddy.
