As soon as I get her home and in bed, I tuck her in and kiss her cherry red lips. She looks exhausted and her face is as pale as a ghost, so I leave it at that. Hopefully, the cold hasn’t chilled her literally to the bone and doesn’t cause her to catch pneumonia.

After making sure she is comfortable, I pull my clothes off and slide in behind her before lying my head down on the pillow. When I hear her softly snore, I smile because it sounds cute when she does it. Hell, everything she does is cute, even when she yells at me.
