Raquel screamed again, but nobody appeared. People at the other side of the road were stunned by her scream and looked at her like she was crazy.

Raquel inhaled sharply and hid back her knife.

“If this is your plan to drive me insane, then you have committed a mistake!” Raquel screamed at the top of her voice, she blinked back her tears that threatened to fall from her eyes.

She was going to be strong and not anyone trampled on her again. She would never berate herself again to the status of someone like Eva.
