Matilda told him the location of Eva and stated that she was with a vampire.

"A vampire?" Liam smirked and rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I would have considered him as an ally but since Eva is still alive, that means he isn't willing to kill her, perhaps bit yet"

Matilda looked away and asked; "How can you make assumptions with such little information?"

Liam laughed at her question then bragged; "I am a belligerent man and I don't make conclusions without thinking thoroughly about my words"
