The strange scent confused them, it made the scent of Beta Kyle slowly disappear.

“Let's go there, be ready for anything that tries attacking you, and never relent when retaliating. The Alpha never told us to bring him alive” the first one spoke, and they sauntered to the cabin.

They reached the door and instead of barging in, the first one in his human form knocked on the door.

At the third knock, the door opened and it revealed an old woman.

The woman wasn't petrified to see wolves in front of her door and these strange men because she had been prepared for such an occurrence.
