"You mean the same 'Carlos' who left the coven!" one of the witches exclaimed with a shocked expression on her.

"Yes, the same one" Matilda replied and there came silence.

She was shocked by the sudden quietness and she studied their expressions, it turned from one of shock to disbelief and a hint of fear.

"Why are you all so silent? He left the coven and ceased to be one of us. You can help me bring him down, he has been an obstacle to me getting my target. He is protecting them with his magic and my powers can't challenge it " Matilda muttered with distress written...
