Eva quickly put on the lamp and turned to see Alpha Trent seated on the couch opposite the bed.

The couch was placed there for a hilarious reason, which was during the times they fight and need some space, either of them could stay there and avoid the other partner without arousing any suspicion or third-party involvement.

Anyway, that was the last thing on Eva's mind. Surprisingly, she wasn't shocked to see him; she didn't scream or shriek because of his presence but instead stared at him with tears of joy and relief in her eyes.
