I watched as Roseanna climbed down from the car and I tried to act unbothered

“Aryan, have you been waiting for your wife?” Henry asked. I turned to gaze at Roseanna, and she turned to look away from me after our eyes meet.

“No, I came out to receive a call,” I lied

“Let’s go,” I said and took Roseanne by her hands

“Can’t we stay a bit longer? I’m not sure the event is over yet,” Roseanna said, and a frown appeared on my face. “She wasn’t ashamed to show me that she enjoyed Henry’s company more than mine?” I thought and abruptly said, “No, let’s leave”...
