My woman entered the kitchen and wrapped her arms around me from behind me. I turned and kissed her soft lips. 

" How was your day?" I asked,

" Rough, but I did my best. I see you're recovering well," she cupped my face. I frowned and opened my mouth to protest her earlier actions, but she cut me off with a kiss. 

" Ellis, it's our pack. And I want to be involved in it," she said sternly. I was pleased she wanted to be more involved.
