Kevin lifted his small head and looked at me. “But mommy, I told him that you’re mine and I also fell in love with you.”

“What?!” Black stood up and glared at the poor little boy. Such chaotic scene.

I sighed and glared at Black who was obviously overreacting before looking softly to Kevin who was about to cry. I caressed his chubby cheeks. “It’s alright dear, you don’t have to be worried.”

“But I angered you mommy.” His innocent voice made me smile.

“You didn’t.” I answered gently. “Now, finish your food ok?”
