Bella’s POV:

“Mommy? What are you thinking?” Kevin’s curious voice snapped me back to reality.

I smiled as I caressed his fluffy cheeks. “Nothing dear. What do you want to do?”

His eyes sparkled brightly while his lips stretched into a cute smile. “I want to play outside mommy. I met new friends and I wish to spend some time with them. I haven’t really experience it before. Can I mommy? Can I?”

My heart twitched. There was a slight warmth that I felt yet I couldn’t hide the anger that was rising inside my chest.

“Go on…” I answered.

“Yeheyyy! Thank you mommy!” He got down from my lap...
