Aiden and Lisa arrived and met the throng of people in the ballroom. A quick slice of his eyes around told him that Alex didn’t  show up.

 

Not that he minded. Alex had been drawing back from Mike since his return and he doesn’t  know

why. He had thought of asking Mike if he noticed the same but it always skipped his mind.
