Tons of unexpected cases are brought to my notice and I know I need to sort them out before leaving. My Council of Elders wants me to, and I can’t say no to them this time.

With Kael sitting at my right hand, and Cormac sitting at my left-hand side, we all get fully into the meeting.

“Alpha Arkon,” one of the Elders calls my attention. “This is one of the crucial issues we want you to tend to. It’s an unfinished business from your father’s era,” he hands a scroll and some files to Cormac.

Cormac sends them to me.

“What are these?” I open the scroll....
