We've always been separate entities, Caleb and I in my past and even the early part after my rebirth, until I got to reconcile with him. The last time I spent with them here, we shared separate rooms despite being a couple. It was the most horrible experience, having your mate gang up with his parents to hate you, if not for my stubborn nature then, I would have died out of anxiety or perhaps committed suicide. That's past, I remember those moments with fulfillment and a sense of achievement inside me.
