“We're going to get you fed first.“ Her cheeks blush as her stomach lets out another growl of hunger.
When we get to the kitchen, she automatically moves to the stove, but I pick her off the ground and seat her on the island counter.
“You're not cooking a thing in here.“
“You can cook?“ Her eyes shine with amusement, and I feel proud that I'm the reason she's laughing.
