“Luna, I’m going to bandage this for you,” Lira said, standing and skillfully tending to the wound on my forehead.

I tugged at the edge of her jacket. “Can I ask you something?”

Lira glanced at me with confusion while wrapping the bandage around my head. “What is it, Luna? Is something bothering you?”

“Do you know Rebecca well?” I murmured.

Lira let out a long sigh, finished the bandaging, and secured it with medical tape before sitting beside me. “She never changes. Always causing trouble for anyone close to Alpha Malcolm, even though she’s not his fated mate either.”
