I tried to use my Life Walker power to heal myself, but the poison seemed to block my abilities.

"It won't work," Lucy said, seeing what I was trying to do. "The poison is specifically designed to neutralize Life Walker energy."

"Then how do I stop it?" I asked desperately.

"You don't," Lucy said with glee. "Only the person who created the poison can neutralize it."

"Which is you," I realized.

"Which is me," Lucy confirmed. "And I have absolutely no intention of helping you."
