NOAH'S POV

Ten years had passed since that day in the hospital. Ten perfect, peaceful years.

But lately, I've been having strange dreams.

Dreams where I had wings. Dreams where Daisy could bring dead flowers back to life with just a touch. Dreams where our son wasn't adopted, but born from us.

I hadn't told Daisy about these dreams. I didn't want to worry her. Our life was perfect now. Why ruin it with talk of impossible things?

But tonight, as I sat on the porch watching another storm roll in, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

"Papa?"
