DAISY'S POV

That night, I waited until I was sure all the vampires in the castle were asleep. Then I took out the small vial of angel essence.

I held it up to the moonlight coming through my window. The clear liquid inside seemed to glow with a soft white light.

"Please work," I whispered.

I opened the vial and drank all of the angel essence in one gulp.

At first, nothing happened. I just sat on the bed waiting.

Then, slowly, I started to feel different.
