MEGAN'S POV

I walked into the house and saw Eric standing with a glass of water in his hand while standing by the stairs and thinking about something which seems completely wrong because he is usually not home by this time of the day.

"Hey, baby," I called out and he jumped before looking at me. 

"Hi, I didn't see you." he gave me a slight hug and backed away. 

"Why are you back so early?"

"I was done with my work and wanted to come home to see my beautiful girl."

"But you are extremely worried and trying to divert my attention from that which is clearly not happening...
