ANNABELLE'S POV

I pressed the elevator button as fast as I could but the elevator was nowhere close so I used the stairs. I removed my heels and ran down trying to get to the bottom as quickly as I can and the moment I got to the last stair I put my heels back and walked as if nothing was happening while my mind was going helter-skelter.

I walked out of the building and hopped into my car immediately before driving out like a mad woman. I took another faster route and the police didn't stop the car from driving me off the speed limit.
