Charles POV

I knew this whole betting game will affect the company. I warned Adams about it but he shut me off. Now a very important contract has being cancelled after a long wait.

I came out of Adams' office and bumped in Dave at the entrance.

"What are you doing peeping in at Mr Adams' office in that manner?" I asked.

"Nothing sir." He replied.

"Oh. Nothing you say? Okay. Then I'm sure you won't mind if I inform him of your presence here the whole time." I said and turned to enter Mr Adams' office again.

Dave held me back by the hand immediately.
