At the company, everything and everyone was just settling down. And what's this? It turns out that there is one person among the crowd who has something hidden about what happened.

Charles POV

I witnessed everything that just happened between Adams and Dave's mother and I felt so much of the guilt.

I should have told Mr Adams everything instead of hiding it. Maybe the issue wouldn't have taken such a turn if I did just that.

I stood up from my desk and headed towards Adams' office. I knocked first.
