Dave POV

It's night time already and I had to leave their house.

"Take this blanket. It will keep you warm. At least before you reach your home. It's cold outside." The woman said.

"I don't think I need one." I replied.

"You don't have a home of your own in these parts do you?" She said.

"How did you know that?" I asked.

"Nothing much to explain. It's just that everyone in this neighborhood knows each other. I haven't seen you here before." She said.

"Also, my daughter had spotted you entering the uncompleted building through our room window. I figured you might just be homeless."...
