The rays of light that escaped into the room through the tiny rails in the window made me flutter my lashes as I woke up, my eyes hurting from the reflection.

I yawned using the back of my palm to wipe my eyes just so I could check my surroundings, I took a peek at the wall clock and the time read, 10:30.

How in the name of holy goddess have I been sleeping for such long period of time without waking up? I walked to the window and opened the curtains widely letting the sun hit me as I closed my eyes savoring the sun's gloriousness.
