I walked back around to the front of the house and the car pulled up beside me. Tobias got out of the car with the baby nestled in his arms, still fast asleep. Theo then grabbed some things from the trunk.
“Why didn’t you go inside?” asked Tobias, walking over to me. He passed me my son and I held him close to my chest.
“It feels strange being back here” I answered him truthfully. He nodded before kissing my cheek.
