SOME HURTFUL MEMORIES

"Are you ignoring me?" Josh’s voice was rigorous as he pulled me into the house, his grip bruising my wrist.
The room was dark unlike usual and I figured Uncle Jerry wasn’t home. I watched Josh close the door behind him with a loud thud.
"No? I have my exams next month. I thought I told you before," I snickered, knowing how attentive he was at times.
There was something about his features that wasn't fitting well with me today. There were dark circles under his eyes and then there was this awful smell. That smell wasn't unfamiliar to me.
