I strode through the hall to the last room as the teacher had directed and paused outside a large classroom. The kids were all rushing with copies in their hands. And by the teacher’s desk was Misoo, her smile lighting up the room brighter than the lights.

"Joyce!" Misoo’s eyes found mine and as soon as she took my name, the entire classroom fell quiet and the children began staring at me with big round eyes.

"Hi." I waved at Misoo from the door and then at the children, who copied my gesture.
