"Granny!" Paige ran toward Mum as soon as the door opened.

Mum's face quickly lit up and she pulled Paige up on her lap, making me jump in fear. She was still weak and heavy lifting was only going to make her suffer more. She shook her head at me and turned around to walk into the house, carrying Paige in her arms. She had to be fine. She was strong and I trusted Richard. Richard wasn't going to let anything happen to her.
