Hillary, my mum’s housekeeper's number flashed on the phone screen, forcing me to step away from Joy. Hillary had never called me this late and never more than once. But it was the fifth time today.

"What is it?" I growled, picking the call up.

"I’m sorry, sir. I wouldn't have called so many times but..." Her tone was wary and she added, "But it's your mother, sir. She fainted and she's at the hospital. Sir Richard has asked you to get there as quickly as possible."
