While Jason just took off for his vacation with Alyssa, Janet stayed behind to handle some unfinished business with Dan. It took several days before she could talk herself into going into his office and actually having a conversation with the man, especially since he ruined their relationship with Wilson on Christmas. Dan placed his glasses down shocked to see his daughter walking in.

“Janet? What do I owe this pleasure?”

She fidgeted with her hands, trying to find somewhere for them as she got closer. “I wasn’t planning on staying here for long, but since I will be working here permanently I quit my job in New York.”...
