Gabriel had appeared behind me at some point.

He saw it all!

All of this happened in a matter of seconds, and before I could withdraw my hand, Gabriel rushed over and pushed Mark hard.

He had reached the verge of rage, using a lot of force. Mark was defenseless and his head hit a board next to the door.

There was soon a faint smell of blood in the air.

"Gabriel! Stop it!" I shouted.

Gabriel tried to continue fighting Mark while my voice stopped him.
