Chapter 40

Having her chin resting on her palms while sitting on the chair beside the bed, Cassie stares at Damien with a smile dancing on her lips. She was able to get him to the bed and called the physician to come to attend to him. The physician left just a few minutes ago, and she's going to be looking after him all night.

Staring at his handsome sleeping face, her cheeks heat up as she feels her smile widens. He looks extremely handsome even in his sleep.
