My jaw literally dropped to the floor as I looked at Adrian's angry behavior towards Nathan who seemed unbothered.

“Alpha…” I began to mutter

Adrian turned bloodshot eyes to look at me, his eyes losing some of their anger as I called his name.

“Tessa, I want you to tell me, what happened between you two last night? I don't mean to intrude, I just want to know” He said, his fists clenched by his side.

I shook my head vehemently.

“It's not what you think, we just spoke, that's all. I'm grateful for your concern though” I said curtseying.
