TESSA'S POV
A sliver of sunlight, sharp and insistent sliced through my eyes through a small hole in the roof, rousing me from my restless sleep. I reluctantly stood up focused on the task of learning something new about the case of the death of Thomas.
I stood up and went to get ready before going into the med bay where Gabe and Gia were already.
“Good morning, Gabe. Gia” I said nodding to Gabe.
Gabe looked up at me from where he sat beside a patient's bed.
“You look horrible,” He said plainly
