He cleared his throat and looked out of the window

"It's raining" He muttered and Adella nodded

"It is," Adella agreed, looking out the window at the rain that was falling softly. The sound of the raindrops against the windowpane was soothing, and it helped her to calm down a bit.

She could feel the tension in the air, the unspoken questions hanging between them.

"You can sleep over for tonight" Orion said and Adella couldn't believe her ears

"I can?" She asked again

Alpha Orion ignored her and turned to walk away

"You haven't eaten" Adella immediately said

"You ate right?" Alpha Orion asked and she nodded
