The campus hit different after the gathering.

The parking lot already half full by the time Rafael dropped us off. Students everywhere,backpacks, coffee cups, someone yelling across the lot about a group project due Friday. A girl in a cropped hoodie nearly walked into me while staring at her phone. Two guys from my statistics class were arguing about whether the professor curved last semester’s final. It was the normal noise, normal chaos.
