And shoplifting isn't going to do it for her. The stealing of the onesie showed her-because after the high wore off, she was filled with the deepest shame she's ever known. She only came today to get to try on the gorgeous gowns and be able to feel the rich fabrics. Window shopping-and that's fine by her for now, thank God. And she does feel like she's really turned a corner.
