Velvet’s POV

I went mute, staring at him with expectant eyes, wondering what he would say in response.

“I don't want to and if I have the chance, I won't.” He snapped but this stood as probability.

"Ohhh!" I forced a smile, feeling slightly special with this and also worried. One end I would say, let this thirty days last forever and the other let it be over soon so I'll know my fate.

Either the luckiest or saddest fate.

Merely looking into his eyes, I could tell he meant every word he said. He wasn't lying to please me.
