“You know I can never give up on you, but then you know I can’t live a day without you?”

“Why, because of the sex I give you?”

I shook my head. “We began with sex but now my heart is attached. Even though you don’t see me as your mate yet, I see you as one.”

Zavian froze. His eyes parted so wide.
