Velvet’s POV

“Dad, I mean…. We traveled out together.” I couldn't hide it. It just slipped before I got to process the words.

Zavian’s eyes flared so wide, he must be eager about my dad's reaction next.

“You…. travelled to….. for?” His words came in cuts.

It was then my eyes locked back with Zavian and he didn't know whether to laugh or murmur at me for being too sharp mouthed.

I hit my forehead.

“We are sorry we didn't….. “

If only it were this, then I wouldn't have to worry. If no one told him about the relationship between us, nothing to worry about.
