After some minutes when my brother suddenly left because of a phone call, Velvet didn’t go home as instructed by me. She insisted on staying.

She sat beside me in the ward, looking tired but refusing to leave. I told her I’d stay with her mom through the night, but she shook her head quietly. Her eyes were half-closed, yet she still tried to smile at me.
