The two discussed for a while before Calytrix brought her mom back to her home with the cake, which they both shared.

Once that was done, she told her mom that she needed to return to the university, as there was a project she hadn't handled before coming to visit her.

Her mother then scolded her for ditching such an important thing. Calytrix smilingly reassured her that everything would be fine and told her her health was more important, plus she really missed her mum's hugs.

So they both hugged for a while with her mum patting Calytrix's back repeatedly but gently. Just like that, Calytrix left her mom's place...
